The Acusp Costers del Segre Pinot Noir 2017, an impressive wine from the vineyards of Castell d'Ecus in the Catalan Pyrenees. Under the guidance of renowned winemaker Raul Bobet, this Pinot Noir unfolds a luminous ruby red color and seduces with aromas of ripe cherries, wild berries, and red currants. On the palate, it presents itself with silky tannins and refreshing acidity. Notes of spices, vanilla, and oak complete the flavor profile.
The vineyards of Castell d'Ecus benefit from a continental climate with Mediterranean influence, creating ideal conditions for a slow and even ripening of the grapes. The 2017 vintage is characterized by intense aromas and a balanced structure. The granite-dominated soils lend the wine its characteristic minerality and complexity.
Raul Bobet, oenologist and owner of Castell d'Ecus, has led this winery to great acclaim with his commitment and passion. His sustainable and biodynamic winemaking philosophy is reflected in the uniqueness of his wines.
The Acusp Costers del Segre Pinot Noir 2017 is the perfect accompaniment for grilled salmon fillet, chicken, and delicate mushroom dishes.
