Muscadet/Melon de Bourgogne

Alcohol content: 12.5% vol
One of the most beautiful expressions of the Melon de Bourgogne grape variety, also known as Muscadet. The grapes for Melonix grow on the best Muscadet terroirs, but the wine is labelled as Vin de France because it is not considered typical enough for Muscadet by the local control commissions. Therefore, it does not bear a vintage on the label. However, we can reveal that it is made entirely from grapes harvested in 2021. One of the special features of Melonix is the complete or almost complete absence of sulphites, depending on the vintage. The wine presents itself with a mineral bouquet, hints of nuts and citrus fruits. On the palate, it is bone dry and has a fresh yet mild acid structure. Here, too, minerality is the defining characteristic. Excellent with seafood and fish. Melonix tastes very good in its youth, but also has astonishing ageing potential.

Wine Description
The 2022 Chinon Chenin Blanc "Teyras" from Teyras de Grandval in Cravant‑les‑Côteaux (Loire) is a single-varietal Chenin Blanc from the steep slope parcel "Les Bruyères". After hand-harvesting, it matures for 12 months in wooden barrels and then 12 months in the bottle.In the glass, it shows delicate aromas of white fruits, blossoms, and nuts, supported by fine minerality. On the palate, it impresses with lively acidity, clear structure, and subtle oak spice – elegant, precise, and terroir-driven.
A sophisticated Loire Chenin with aging potential – it perfectly accompanies steamed fish, creamy vegetable dishes, or cured poultry.
